Schools & Institutions

We live in a world where young people are struggling. This is a consequence of new and growing challenges; social media addiction, poor social skills, isolation and lack of family support, mental health diagnoses, climate anxiety, media amplified disasters. The list is long. But so is the list of opportunities to take action, develop new skills, and build agency. Take the Climate Strike for example, a movement which harnessed the energy of young people’s anger and hope into collective action for change. Now imagine a school curriculum that enables and encourages young people to do just that around their wellbeing and social connection.

Our goal is to establish an action-based school curriculum that helps young people learn new emotional and interpersonal skills to meet critical needs in the following areas:

Awareness

Knowledge about the diverse and unique physical, emotional, social and environmental challenges they encounter in the world they live in

Strategy & Skills

a clear framework to learn specific self-identified skills to manage these stressors

Habits

the opportunity to transform troublesome habits into ‘Well Habits’

Habit change happens when there is clear intent, ready support and dedicated practice. It emerges from a school culture where learning wellness is a valued and integral part of the school, the staff and the curriculum.

Well Habit Curriculum – a flexible model to meet your students’ needs

The Well-Habit curriculum trains students and teachers in wellness literacy, communication skills, peer coaching, and frameworks for change. The highly flexible curriculum is designed to meet the specific needs of students using a system thinking and design thinking approach.

Our Well Habit model motivates and simplifies learning using memorable metaphors, self-inquiry quizzes, meaningful activities, peer-to-peer skill practice, coaching methodologies and practical self-directed goal setting.

The small steps and personalised approach help the learner navigate their own individual path to wellness. Teachers and students engage in the inquiry, peer coaching and learning process together, minimising teacher stress and encouraging collaboration over hierarchy.

If requested, we can provide online versions of the workshops or training for teachers.

Well Habit activity books and eBooks

We have created an engaging series of activity books, posters and visual resources that break down the well habit curriculum into its core areas. They are also available as downloadable PDFs. The learning activities include:

Well Habit Coaching sessions

To fill the gap between students who require counselling and those who require additional wellbeing support, we have been providing regular wellness coaching sessions for students referred by their teachers and or/ school counsellors.

These sessions provide a third space for students to identify, discuss and proactively address a wide range of challenges in a relaxed and supportive setting. Using the Well Habit model, these group sessions are structured to encourage open discussions to help each other find solutions. We successfully modelled this in Bentleigh secondary school in 2025 where students explored real world challenges including social media or phone addiction, social skills and anxiety, nutrition and issues around sleep.

Continued partnerships using a design thinking approach

Ongoing collaboration and consultation to review and adapt your school’s current wellbeing needs. We bring the voices of the students, teachers and parents together to inform how your school’s specific wellbeing curriculum is designed and implemented.
