About Course
This interactive 60-90 minute workshop uses the metaphor of a car journey to guide participants in identifying communication challenges, practicing assertiveness, and setting personalized goals.
It may also include the 90 page “How to Be Assertive” Activity book for participants. (Extra charge of $30 per participant)
Through the experiencing of the 5 step Well Habit process, participants learn & explore:
- What assertiveness is.
- What is their habitual Communication Style/s (Passive, Passive-aggressive, Aggressive, Assertive)
- Motivation to build ones own Assertiveness skills
- Explore options for taking self-defined steps to change by creating their own “assertiveness roadmap,”
- Set unique SMART-ASS goals
The outcome of building Assertiveness is that participants will navigate their way to more positive relationships, clarity, boundaries, authentic, respectful and confident interactions.
The session concludes with an option for regular peer support Well Habit lunchtime meetings to maintain momentum and encourage skill development, feedback and support within the workplace.
